AUTUMN
The children will learn that Autumn is one of the four seasons of the year. We will discuss which season comes before and after Autumn.
Ideas - go for a lovely Autumn walk with your child and ask them to be Autumn detectives! Get them to look at what's happening to the trees, how the weather is getting colder, what happens to the animals in the Autumn (particularly those that hibernate) and make a collection of Autumn treasures e.g. acorns, conkers, coloured leaves etc. Discuss and describe the noises that crunchy leaves make when they walk on them or when they rub them with their fingers etc.
