The government announced £1 billion of funding to support children and young people to catch up lost time after the extended period of school closure in 2020. This is especially important for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds. This funding includes:

How much funding will The Meadows receive through this premium?

School allocations are calculated on a per pupil basis.

Mainstream schools are due to receive £80 for each pupil in from reception to year 11 inclusive.

On the basis of 284 pupils on roll, we expect to receive £22,720 in 2020-21 through this one-off premium.
